Very Rev. Gabriel Rabban, Very Rev. Scaria, and Very Rev. Thomas Rabban will be ordained as metropolitan for Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Church (Archdiocese of Syriac Orthodox Church in India) at St. Athanasius Cathedral, Puthencuriz on 02 January 2012. His Beatitude the Catholicose Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I will be the chief celebrant, assisted by all bishops from Malankara.
Very Rev. Dr. Joseph Rabban will be ordained as metropolitan of the Holy Church at Damascus on 15 January 2011 by His Holiness the Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas.
