Rabban Dawood who is going to consecrate as Archbishop of Mosul and Environs on 27 November 200 by His Holiness The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas . Father Rabban Dawood Matti Sharaf was born in Mosul in 1976. A graduate of Mosul Clergy Monastery, Bachelor degree in Theology.

Ordained a monk in 2000 by his Holiness, our patriarch Appointed by his Holiness teacher at St. Ephraim Theological College in Saydnaya Ordained in 2001 by his Holiness a full priest (Rabban) and sent to serve for three months to Sweden. Expedited by His Holiness to Athens University in Greece to study the language. He was awarded the Holy Cross by His Holiness the patriarch in 2005. He served Mor Malki church in Sydney – Australia for over three years. Reverend Father Rabban Dawood is well known for his love to serve, preach, and sermonize.
